Infused with oak bark & moss, this candle honours the deep intelligence of the natural cycle. Oak bark lends resilience, endurance, & protective strength through periods of change, while moss represents patience, regeneration, & the gentle persistence of life reclaiming space. Its decayed leaf sigil is a reminder - what falls away becomes nourishment for what is yet to grow.
To burn Decayed Herbarium is to compost the past with intention, soften attachment to what no longer serves, & invite regeneration at the root. A ritual of release & renewal, where endings become fertile ground & transformation unfolds.

Our candles are made with the highest % of fragrance oil for soy wax, therefore the scent is very strong. They are made this way so that customers can take the candle lid off & still be able smell the candle within the room without burning it, that way you won't need to take off the decoration. However if you decide to burn the candle then please remove all decorations before lighting (apart from wax decorations).
✦ Candle Care: On the first burn ensure you burn the candle for atleast 2 hours, allowing the wax to melt all the way to the sides of the container. This will create a clean & even burn - failure to do this will cause tunnelling which will reduce the burn time of your candle. Remember to trim your wick (if required). There may be some wax unevenness after burning which is completely normal & part of the natural burning process of the soy wax.
✦ Warning: It is strongly advised that you remove crystals, dried flowers & anything else that could potentially catch fire before lighting candle. Never leave a lit candle unattended. Keep out of the reach of children & pets. Do not burn for longer than 3 hours at a time & always make sure you are burning on a heatproof, non-flammable surface away from any windows or hazards. Trim wicks to about 4mm before lighting. Always extinguish the candle.
